Paramore’s front woman Hayley Williams told web series Behind The Brand that she was ready to leave the band two years ago.
With a new album that was released on May 12th and Williams’ newly launched hair dye brand, Good Dye Young, Paramore’s name has been a hot topic of discussion amongst news platforms for the last few months.
Williams told Behind The Brand, “To be really honest, two years ago I was ready to quit. I’d been through a lot personally, the band had been through alot, and I doubted if I could write a record that I loved as much as our self-titled record.”
She further stated, “I don’t want to disappoint myself, more than I don’t want to disappoint however many people might buy it,” but she was soon to change her mind once the writing progress began, “ I never made a fifth record before, until me and my friends wrote it and recorded it.”
